Klein Curaçao is a small uninhabited island located about 25 kilometers southeast of Curaçao, famous for its crystal-clear turquoise water, white sand beaches, sea turtles, and untouched Caribbean atmosphere. Often called one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, the island is a paradise for snorkeling, diving, swimming, drone photography, and relaxing far away from crowds and city life. The island is also known for its iconic pink lighthouse, old shipwrecks scattered along the coast, and incredible marine life. Thanks to the calm shallow waters and vibrant coral reefs, Klein Curaçao is one of the best places in Curaçao for snorkeling with sea turtles in their natural habitat. Most visitors arrive by catamaran or boat tour, spending the day enjoying the beach, BBQ lunches, open bars, and snorkeling excursions. Tips

• * Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat — there is very little natural shade
• * Motion sickness tablets are recommended if you are sensitive to waves

How to get there

Klein Curaçao can only be reached by boat from mainland Curaçao. Most tours depart early in the morning from: * Jan Thiel * Caracasbaai * Spaanse Water * Zanzibar area The boat trip usually takes around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on sea conditions. Multiple companies offer day trips including catamarans, yacht charters, luxury boats, fishing boats, and private tours. Advance booking is highly recommended, especially during weekends and high season. Boats depart from Jan Thiel and Spanish Water marina. Trip takes ~2 hours each way.
