About
Mikvé Israel-Emanuel is the historic synagogue in Punda whose current building was consecrated in 1732. The congregation dates to 1651, and the synagogue is the oldest synagogue in continuous use in the Americas. Its interior is known for its sand-covered floor, mahogany furnishings and historic chandeliers. The adjacent museum adds context on Curaçao's Jewish history.
