
Mongui Maduro Museum is a beautifully preserved historic house museum located inside the 18th-century plantation estate Landhuis Rooi Catootje in Willemstad. The museum tells the story of the influential Maduro family and showcases Curaçao’s Jewish heritage, colonial history, antique furniture, rare artifacts, photographs, and personal collections gathered over generations. Visitors can walk through elegant historic rooms, explore the surrounding gardens, and discover one of the island’s most important cultural heritage sites. The museum also includes the renowned Mongui Maduro Library, home to one of the Caribbean’s most important collections focused on Curaçao history, Antilliana, and Judaica.
