Parts of Curaçao have been experiencing repeated power cuts lately. According to Aqualectra, low winds and technical problems affecting generating units have reduced the electricity available, especially during evening peak demand. Battery storage helps, but can’t cover the shortfall indefinitely.
That means rotating power cuts to balance supply and demand. Ours lasted two hours.
We love island life… but we do prefer being able to see it. 😂💙
