About

Ocean Encounters is a premier PADI dive center located at Seaquarium Beach in Curaçao, offering scuba diving courses, guided dives, and snorkeling excursions for all experience levels. Curaçao is renowned for having some of the best shore diving in the Caribbean, and Ocean Encounters provides access to multiple world-class dive sites including the famous Tugboat wreck at Caracas Bay, the Double Reef at Porto Marie, and various reef systems along the island's southern coast. The dive center offers PADI certification courses from Open Water to Divemaster, as well as intro dives for beginners who have never dived before. Guided shore dives are available daily, with visibility typically 20–30 meters and water temperatures staying around 27–29°C (80–84°F) year-round. The Tugboat wreck at Caracas Bay is a beginner favorite — a 30-meter sunken tugboat in just 5 meters of water, completely covered in coral and teeming with fish. Ocean Encounters also offers boat trips to Klein Curaçao for diving and snorkeling. The dive center is located at the Lions Dive & Beach Resort at Seaquarium Beach, making it easy to combine diving with a beach day. Equipment rental is available on-site. Ocean Encounters is ideal for both certified divers and beginners looking to explore Curaçao's spectacular underwater world.
