Ask me anything about Suplado / Jacuzzi.
Supladó, also known as the natural Jacuzzi of Curaçao, is a spectacular blowhole formation located inside Shete Boka National Park on the island's rugged north coast. Powerful Atlantic waves crash through underground volcanic rock tunnels, creating dramatic water explosions and a bubbling natural pool effect that looks like a giant ocean jacuzzi. When the sea is rough and the wind is strong, Supladó puts on one of the most impressive natural shows in the Caribbean — water erupts through the rock formation with tremendous force, creating a spectacle that draws nature lovers, photographers, and adventure seekers. The location is easily accessible by car within Shete Boka National Park, with a short walk from the parking area to the viewing platform. Safety barriers are in place, but visitors should stay behind them during strong waves and avoid getting too close to slippery cliff edges. Sturdy shoes are recommended for the rocky surfaces. Supladó is best visited on windy days when the wave action is at its most dramatic. The formation is located near Boka Patrick and Pul di Padiki, making it easy to combine all three north coast natural attractions in a single visit. Supladó is one of Curaçao's most unique natural phenomena and a must-see highlight of any Shete Boka National Park visit.
