Zuikertuintje (meaning little sugar garden) used to be a country house for townspeople. There possibly was a little green garden in which sugar cane was grown on modest scale. There are three dormers on the south side above the entrance. On the one in the middle it says: ANO 1870. These dormers were probably added later, because the house dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. The much rebuilding didn't interfere with the original character of Zuikertuintje. Right now it hosts a shopping mall.
