About

Parasasa Beach is a laid-back local beach in the Piscadera area, just a few minutes from downtown Willemstad, where calm turquoise water, sunset views, and an authentic island atmosphere come together. Unlike some of the island's more touristy beaches, Parasasa feels relaxed and local — the kind of place where families gather on weekends, friends meet for a swim after work, and visitors can enjoy Curaçao without the crowds. The bay is naturally protected, making the water usually calm and great for swimming. Parasasa is also known for snorkeling — just offshore, tropical fish and coral patches can be spotted, and the reef near the Piscadera side attracts divers and snorkelers looking for an easy shore entry. The underwater visibility can be very good on calm days. Water shoes are recommended as parts of the beach can be pebbly and rocky. One of the best things about Parasasa Beach is sunset — in the late afternoon the light turns golden, the sea becomes extra calm, and cruise ships passing offshore create one of those classic Curaçao views that feels simple and unforgettable. Access is free with easy parking nearby. Parasasa is popular with locals, especially in the evenings and on weekends.
