Hato Caves

About

Hato Caves is a managed limestone cave attraction near Curaçao International Airport. A guided tour leads through chambers with stalactites, stalagmites, pools, limestone formations and a colony of long-nose fruit bats. The approximately 45-minute visit also includes historical and cultural interpretation of the cave.

Tips

• Guided tours depart every full hour from 09:00, with the last tour at 15:00.
• Arrive about 10 minutes before your preferred tour.
• There are 49 steps to reach the cave entrance.
• The cave can feel warm; do not expect an air-conditioned or consistently cool environment.

How to get there

Located on F.D. Rooseveltweg near Curaçao International Airport, approximately 12 minutes on foot from the airport terminal area. Parking is available at the attraction.
