A rough dirt road off the main Westpunt road leads to Playa Jeremi, and while a 4WD or high-clearance vehicle is recommended, the reward is a beautiful cove with crystal-clear water, excellent snorkeling off the rocky edges, and almost guaranteed solitude. The beach is composed of a mix of sand and coral fragments, so water shoes are advisable. Snorkelers will find healthy coral formations and a variety of tropical fish along the reef. Playa Jeremi is best visited on weekdays when there is a good chance of having the entire beach to yourself.
