Ask me anything about Kenepa Chiki (Kleine Knip).
Kenepa Chiki, also known as Kleine Knip, is the smaller and quieter sister beach to Kenepa Grandi (Grote Knip), located just a 5-minute drive east along the Westpunt coast. This stunning turquoise bay offers shallow, calm water that is perfect for snorkeling, swimming, and cliff jumping from the surrounding rocks. The beach is more intimate than its larger neighbor, with a small dirt parking lot on the right side of the road. There are no facilities on-site — no food, water, restrooms, or shade — so visitors should come prepared with everything they need. The cliff jump is popular among locals and adventurous visitors, but always check the water depth before jumping as conditions can vary. Snorkeling at Kenepa Chiki reveals healthy coral formations and a variety of tropical fish in the clear, shallow water. The beach is less crowded than Grote Knip, making it ideal for visitors who want a more peaceful experience while still enjoying the dramatic scenery of Curaçao's western coast. Kenepa Chiki can be combined with a visit to Grote Knip and the Museo Tula at Landhuis Kenepa for a full Westpunt cultural and beach experience.
