Ask me anything about Playa Forti.
Playa Forti is one of the most iconic beaches in Westpunt, Curaçao's northwesternmost village, famous for the legendary cliff jump from the old fort ruins above the beach. This dramatic spot features beautiful aquamarine water and stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and the Westpunt coastline. The cliff jump, approximately 10 meters high, attracts confident swimmers and thrill-seekers — the water below is deep and clear, but jumpers should always check conditions before leaping. A bar sits right on the cliff edge, offering cold drinks, local food, and what many consider the best sunset view on the entire island. The beach itself is small and rocky, with a mix of sand and pebbles. Snorkeling is good near the rocky edges, where tropical fish gather around the coral formations. Playa Forti is located right in Westpunt village and is easily accessible by car with parking available. The cliff jump is accessed via the bar terrace. There is no entrance fee. The combination of adrenaline, stunning scenery, and a legendary sunset bar makes Playa Forti a must-visit destination on any Westpunt beach tour. Order a cold Polar beer, watch the sun dip into the Caribbean, and experience one of Curaçao's most memorable coastal spots.
